On September 2nd, Securities Times reporter learned that Ctrip released a company-wide memo, stating that in order to further improve the balance between work and life for employees and to create a culture of trust and self-motivation, the company will use its product research and development team as a pilot to cancel the approval process for employees to apply for hybrid office work directly from their supervisors. This means that employees no longer need supervisor approval when applying for hybrid office work, and their applications will automatically be approved once submitted, with the supervisor being notified simultaneously. The memo also mentioned that since Ctrip introduced the policy in 2022, hybrid office work has provided employees with a more flexible way of working, with 70% of employees participating so far and a total of approximately 640,000 instances of remote work.
