According to SMM, the price of battery-grade lithium carbonate index is 77,386 yuan/ton, a decrease of 870 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day; the price range of battery-grade lithium carbonate is 75,800-79,200 yuan/ton, with an average price of 77,500 yuan/ton, a decrease of 850 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day; the price range of industrial-grade lithium carbonate is 74,500-75,900 yuan/ton, with an average price of 75,200 yuan/ton, a decrease of 850 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day. The lithium carbonate futures prices continue to decline, with the lowest price today falling below 73,000 yuan/ton threshold, downstream spot transactions becoming more active. Currently in the traditional peak season of "Golden September and Silver October", the spot price of lithium carbonate continues to decline, which to some extent boosts the purchasing willingness of downstream material factories and battery factories, slightly extending the inventory cycle. In terms of supply, the production of lithium mica end lithium carbonate in Jiangxi region has significantly reduced, but the supply from lithium pegmatite sources can partially make up for the gap. Overall, the lithium carbonate market in September shows a simultaneous increase in supply and demand, with a more significant increase in demand, and it is expected that there will be a tight supply situation in the month.
