Fuzhou Airport's summer peak season saw multiple data reaching record highs.

By the end of the 2025 summer travel season, in July and August, Fuzhou Airport operated 21,000 flights, an increase of 7.2% compared to the previous year. It successfully served 3.09 million passengers, an increase of 7.9% compared to the previous year. The growth rate ranks among the top airports in the country with over ten million passengers, setting new records for flight volume and passenger traffic during the summer travel season. In particular, in August of this year, Fuzhou Airport surpassed 1.604 million passengers, setting a new record for the highest monthly passenger throughput since the airport opened. In addition to its strong transportation capacity, Fuzhou Airport's service quality and operational efficiency, as well as other soft power factors, have continued to improve during the summer travel season, demonstrating the ongoing enhancement of its function as a maritime gateway aviation hub.
