Jiang Yi held talks with the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Akenzhanov.

On September 1, Jiang Yi, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of China Huaneng Group Limited, held talks with the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Aken Rzhanov, at the group's headquarters. Jiang Yi stated that China Huaneng has always viewed Kazakhstan as an important market, and cooperation between the two sides in gas turbine project construction, renewable energy development, and cultural exchanges has yielded positive results. He hopes that both sides will implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen the exploration of cooperation potential, and create more exemplary projects under the Belt and Road Initiative. Aken Rzhanov expressed that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to cooperation with China Huaneng and hopes that China Huaneng will increase its investment in Kazakhstan, jointly promote the efficient implementation of projects such as the Aktobe gas turbine, share technology and experience in the development and utilization of clean energy, and jointly promote mutually beneficial high-quality development of enterprises in both countries.
