Hubei: Striving to preliminarily build the Wuhan Science and Technology Financial Center by the end of 2027.

The Hubei Provincial Committee Financial Office, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and eight other departments recently jointly issued the "Work Plan for the High-level Promotion of the Construction of Wuhan Science and Technology Financial Center." The "Plan" proposes to strive to preliminarily build the Wuhan Science and Technology Financial Center by the end of 2027. The "Plan" focuses on strengthening the functional positioning of the Wuhan Science and Technology Financial Center, restructuring a fully functional science and technology financial service system, and proposing 25 specific measures. It explicitly states the need to more effectively attract financial institutions, capital, talent, and other resources from home and abroad, boldly promote reforms in science and technology finance, continuously optimize the science and technology finance ecosystem, and effectively radiate and drive innovation development in a wider area. It also emphasizes the need to reshape science and technology financial policies, systematically reconstruct the equity investment guidance system, debt financing credit enhancement system, and multi-level capital market fund-raising cultivation system, in order to provide stronger financial support for the integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in Hubei Province.
