Nicaragua announced its joining of the "Global Governance Initiative."

On September 1st local time, the government of Nicaragua issued a statement announcing its participation in the "Global Governance Initiative". The statement expressed that the Republic of Nicaragua, as a revolutionary, free, and sovereign independent country, has always based its international relations on the principles of mutual respect, friendly assistance, and sovereign equality among nations. Nicaragua firmly supports President Xi's "Global Governance Initiative" and believes that this initiative will continue to promote the well-being of people in all countries, defend the independence, sovereignty, self-determination, security, and peace of people in all countries.
