Hong Kong stocks closed lower at midday, with the Hang Seng Index falling by 0.61% and the Hang Seng Technology Index dropping by 1.78%. The Hong Kong technology ETF (159751) fell by 0.95% and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) dropped by 0.22%. In terms of sectors, hotel and resort REITs and communication equipment sectors performed well, while electronic equipment and instruments, as well as healthcare technology sectors, saw declines. Specifically, Fu Yang surged by over 57%, BeiGene rose by 4.06%, and Changfei Fiber Optic Cable fell by 10.35%. Qizhi Group dropped by 10.87%, MONGOL MINING rose by 16.25%, and Haotian International Construction Investment rose by 11.61%.
