Congolese President Sassou Nguesso arrives in Beijing.

Early this morning, President Sassou of the Congo arrived in Beijing Capital International Airport by plane to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War. President Sassou has visited China 17 times, including attending the Third Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum, the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, among others. Over 60 years ago, President Sassou also visited China as one of the first Congolese youth. China and the Congo have a comprehensive strategic partnership.
