Heads of state from multiple countries and leaders of international organizations have arrived in Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the victory in the war of resistance against Japan.

On the evening of September 1st, Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Secretary-General of the SCO Vladimir Norov, and President of the AIIB Jin Liqun arrived in Beijing by high-speed train from Tianjin. They will attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
