QQ responds to miHoYo suing Tencent

On September 1st, Tencent QQ posted on Weibo in response to a new "other civil" lawsuit filed between Shanghai Mihaoyou Ying Iron Technology Co., Ltd. and Tencent Computer Systems Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen. The statement read: "In this lawsuit, Mihaoyou is requesting access to relevant QQ user data for their own civil litigation needs. However, according to laws protecting user privacy, Tencent cannot provide user data illegally. Only through formal judicial procedures can data be accessed and provided. Tencent will strictly adhere to legal provisions and relevant litigation procedures to provide support."
