The number of tourists visiting Australia during the summer of 2025 has increased by 15.2% compared to the previous year.

The Macao Special Administrative Region Government Security Police Bureau announced on September 1 that from July to August this year, there were 7.68 million inbound tourists in Macao, with an average of 123,000 people per day, an increase of 15.2% compared to the same period last year. Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and foreign tourists accounted for 75.8%, 17%, 2.4%, and 4.8%, respectively. In addition, from July to August, the total number of border crossings in Macao reached 41.01 million, with an average of 661,000 border crossings per day, an increase of 8.5% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the number of crossings through the border gates, Qingmao Port, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port, and Hengqin Port accounted for 52.7%, 14.9%, 12.7%, and 12.4%, respectively.
