Some top Wall Street strategists believe that with strong economic prospects driving the stock market breaking out of a narrow trading range, European stocks may rise in the coming months. Led by Sharon Bell, Goldman Sachs strategists expect the pan-European Stoxx 600 index to rise by 2% to around 560 points by the end of 2025, benefiting from improved economic growth prospects, lower positions, and relatively cheaper valuations. The strategists also pointed out that investors "increasingly want to diversify their exposure to the U.S. market, both because of the weakening dollar and because of the concentration of holdings in the technology sector." These strategists also expect the pan-European Stoxx 600 index to rise by 5% in the next year.
