CWT INT'L (00521) subsidiary CWT IDS Millennium obtains Major Payment Institution (MPI) license.

The Zhixin Finance APP announced that CWT INT'L (00521) has disclosed that its non-wholly owned subsidiary and member of the Straits Millennium Financial Group (the main entity in the group's financial services business), Straits Millennium Pte Ltd, has officially obtained a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license in accordance with the 2019 Payment Services Act earlier this year after receiving a preliminary approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The license will take effect on September 1, 2025. This license will enable Straits Millennium to provide cross-border remittance services and digital payment token services, facilitating the exchange of digital payment tokens and legal tender in the financial market.
