UBTech has obtained a strategic financing credit line of 1 billion US dollars and plans to build a super factory in the Middle East.
On August 31, UBTech announced that the company has officially signed a $1 billion strategic partnership agreement with international investment firm Infini Capital. According to the agreement, Infini Capital's high-tech fund will provide UBTech with a total of $1 billion in strategic financing credit lines, including participation in allocations, subscription for convertible bonds, and granting cash withdrawal rights. The two parties have also reached multiple industrial strategic cooperation agreements: Infini Capital plans to increase its holdings of UBTech stocks at the appropriate time, aiming to become an important shareholder with no more than a 5% stake in UBTech; the two parties will jointly invest in the humanoid robot industry chain; and also assist UBTech in expanding into the Middle East market by establishing a joint venture company in the Middle East, planning to establish a super factory, research and development center, and Middle East headquarters in the region.
