Guizhou: Both the production and export prices of black tea rank first in the country.

On August 27th, the first Guizhou Red Tea Conference was held in Puan County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. At the conference, the "Analysis of the Production and Sales of Red Tea in the World and China by 2024" released by the China Tea Marketing Association showed that the production volume and export price of Guizhou red tea ranked first in the country. In recent years, the Guizhou red tea industry has adhered to the quality concept of "clean Guizhou tea," relying on Guizhou's unique ecological advantages and brand building, achieving the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern and international industry. The "Guizhou Red Tea Development Report" released at the conference pointed out that from 2019 to 2024, the total production of red tea in the province will increase from 48,000 tons to 93,000 tons, with an average annual growth rate of 14.1%, which is 4.8 percentage points higher than the national average growth rate of red tea; the total output value will increase from 2.2 billion yuan to 5 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2 times; the per acre output value will increase from 3,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan, representing a 66% increase; the export value will increase from 50 million US dollars to 150 million US dollars, showing a good trend of both quantity and price rising together.
