Uzbekistan President arrives in Tianjin

On August 30th at 22:03, President of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev arrived in Tianjin by plane. He will attend the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit. Uzbekistan is a founding member of the SCO. In January 2024, the leaders of the two countries jointly announced the development of a new era of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership, building a community of shared destiny between China and Uzbekistan at a higher level. After attending the SCO Summit, Mirziyoyev will also travel to Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.
