Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport's north and south runways have achieved dual-line connectivity.

On the 30th, the north and south runways of Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport successfully achieved double-line connection, and the airport construction entered the final sprint stage. It is expected that by March 2026, the airport will complete the test preparation work and have the conditions for flight calibration. It is reported that after the completion of Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, it will become the first large airport in China located entirely in a reclaimed land area. After the airport is put into operation, it will have strong passenger and cargo transportation capabilities, guaranteeing an annual passenger throughput of 45 million people, 380,000 aircraft takeoffs and landings, and a cargo throughput of 750,000 tons, making it a new development hub city for Xiamen.
