Trump administration officials plan to dismiss the majority of Voice of America journalists.

The Trump administration has taken action to dismiss almost all remaining employees of Voice of America, which may provoke a confrontation with a federal judge who had previously rejected attempts to restructure this federally-funded news agency. Trump's staunch ally and Acting CEO of Voice of America, Carri Lake, announced on social media that the agency has issued dismissal notices to 532 employees, including approximately 100 remaining journalists and other staff.
