Reporters learned from the Traffic and Transportation Administration of Haikou City, Hainan Province that, according to the weather conditions in the Qiongzhou Strait, the Haikou Xinhaigang, Xiuying Port and Railway Nangang will resume transportation at 11:00 on August 30th. After the resumption of operations, the port will prioritize the clearance of more than 900 trucks that were waiting at the port and secondary checkpoints before the suspension of operations. It is estimated that it will take 6 hours to restore normal order. Drivers and passengers leaving the island are advised to avoid the peak of clearance and delay their arrival at the port.
