On the morning of August 30, at the second plenary session of the fifth session of the Fifth People's Congress of Zhongwei City, Ma Xiulan was elected as the mayor of Zhongwei City, Zong Lidong was elected as the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Zhongwei City, Qi Shilong was elected as the director of the Zhongwei City Supervisory Committee, and Ma Liming, Ma Bin, An Qi, Li Wenfang, Wu Jinling, Zhang Xiaohua, Zhao Jixu, and Huang Zonghao were elected as members of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Zhongwei City through by-election.
