The 2/3-year US Treasury bond yield fell by more than 30 basis points in August.

In the final trading session on Friday in New York, the yield on the 10-year benchmark Treasury bonds of the United States rose by 2.51 basis points, reaching 4.2284%. It has dropped by 14.56 basis points in August. On August 1, it significantly dropped from the monthly high of 4.4060%, falling to 4.1826% in the early Asia-Pacific session on August 5, before bouncing back. The increase on August 14 was relatively significant, reaching around 4.35% on August 18, before further expanding the decline within the month. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bonds dropped by 1.23 basis points, reaching 3.6167%. It has fallen by 34.04 basis points in August. On August 1, it plunged from the monthly high of 3.9571% and dropped to 3.6024% on August 29, showing an overall downward trend in an L-shape with a long tail.
