Today, it was learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that as of now, the number of low-altitude equipment products in China has exceeded 4 million. New types of low-altitude equipment with characteristics of unmanned, electric and intelligent are developing rapidly. At the Low-Altitude Industry Innovation and Development Conference held in Shihezi, Xinjiang, the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the latest data shows that there are a total of 881 enterprises registered, with 2822 registered products and over 4.06 million low-altitude equipment products in China. 16 types of civilian drones have obtained airworthiness approval, nearly 30 tons of unmanned drones are under research, and nearly 70 types of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft are being developed. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also stated that in the next step, China will accelerate technological innovation, strengthen the foundation of the low-altitude equipment industry chain and supply chain, and focus on the development direction of unmanned, electric and intelligent low-altitude equipment. It will speed up the establishment and improvement of low-altitude equipment safety design system and reliability assurance system, and enhance the resilience and safety level of the industry chain and supply chain.
