According to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the total transportation of crude oil by rail from the United States and Canada to the Gulf Coast of Mexico (Petroleum Administration for Defense District 3) in June decreased to 100,000 barrels per day (from 128,000 barrels per day in May).
