The Zhongshang Association convenes the Independent Directors Professional Committee for the 2025 Annual Work Meeting.

The China Association of Listed Companies held the annual working meeting of the Independent Directors Professional Committee in Beijing on August 28, 2025, to summarize the progress of the committee's related work and conduct in-depth discussions on practical issues related to the reform of the independent director system. During the thematic sharing session, the Association's Corporate Governance Department interpreted the "Guidelines for the Work of the Audit Committee of Listed Companies" and the latest cases of independent director's duties, and also introduced the relevant information on the independent director's performance evaluation that officially started this year. Next, the Association will continue to implement a series of arrangements made by the China Securities Regulatory Commission regarding the reform of the independent director system, continue to play its role in self-discipline management and services, and promote the better role of the independent director system in improving corporate governance, strengthening the enterprise supervision system, and promoting the healthy and stable development of the capital market.
