August 29th: The "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products" increased by 0.22 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on August 29, the "200 Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products" was 116.87, an increase of 0.22 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 117.50, an increase of 0.25 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 19.94 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.6% from yesterday; beef was 65.32 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; mutton was 60.17 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; eggs were 7.64 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; and white chickens were 17.45 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.94 yuan/kg, the same as yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 6.85 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 21.76 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.3% from yesterday; carp was 15.14 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.8% from yesterday; white crucian carp was 10.08 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.5% from yesterday; and largehead hairtail was 41.32 yuan/kg, an increase of 3.8% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties monitored in the domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale market, the top five with the largest price increases compared to yesterday are largehead hairtail, duck pear, winter melon, lettuce, and green onion, with increases of 3.8%, 2.9%, 2.0%, 2.0%, and 2.0%, respectively; the top five with the largest price decreases are pumpkin, watermelon, oyster mushroom, spinach, and pineapple, with decreases of 2.0%, 1.8%, 1.7%, 1.7%, and 1.5%, respectively.
