Hang Seng Index Company: Hang Seng Innovation Drug Index has risen by 116% since the beginning of the year, significantly outperforming the overall market.

According to the Wise Wealth APP, the Hang Seng Innovation Pharmaceutical Index is expected to achieve its first annual increase since 2020 after four consecutive years of decline, as stated by the Hang Seng Company in a blog post. As of August 22, 2025, the Hang Seng Innovation Pharmaceutical Index has risen by 116% since the beginning of the year, outperforming the broader market represented by the Hang Seng Composite Index by 30.5% and the overall healthcare industry by 91.2%. It is worth noting that the strong performance this year has pushed the index to its highest level since December 2021.
