New Zealand is considering allowing some wealthy foreigners to purchase luxury homes, thereby exempting the current ban on overseas buyers in order to attract more high-net-worth investors. According to sources familiar with the matter, it is expected that the New Zealand coalition government will discuss the proposed reform at Monday's Cabinet meeting. The sources said that if the measure is approved, an announcement could be made soon. The exemption will apply to properties worth at least 5 million New Zealand dollars, and only to those holding the so-called golden visa.
