ANZ Bank CEO pushes for comprehensive reform. Employees with attendance below standards will face pay cuts.
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) stated that if an employee spends at least half of their working week outside of the office, their compensation will be affected. The CEO of the company, Nuno Matos, is leading a comprehensive reform of the bank. An email sent to the management on Thursday detailed a tool for tracking employee attendance, and listed the salary levels of employees who did not meet the 50% attendance requirement. A spokesperson for ANZ confirmed the contents of the email.
