PCB manufacturers accelerate "mining" the Southeast Asia market.

With the release of the semi-annual report, printed circuit board manufacturers are seeing the realization of their performance. Most PCB listed companies achieved performance growth in the first half of this year. Driven by demand for AI computing power and car electronics, servers and AI edge consumer electronics have seen a surge in demand, leading to upgrades in the PCB industry chain towards multilayer boards and low power consumption. Manufacturers have also started investing in expanding production and accelerating exploration of the Southeast Asian market. However, the recent price increase of upstream copper clad laminates has raised concerns among industry analysts, who predict that there will be greater pressure on copper prices, increasing competition and difficulty in cost management for PCB enterprises in the second half of the year.
