Amtrak has released a new model of high-speed train in the United States, and President Trump subsequently dismissed the railroad regulator who was supposed to attend the press conference.

On August 28, Amtrak launched a new high-speed train "NextGen Acela" that reaches speeds of up to 160 miles per hour to be deployed on the East Coast/Northeast Corridor of the United States. On the 29th, Robert Primus, a member of the United States Railroad Regulatory Commission, told CNBC that he had just returned home from Amtrak's new product launch event when he was dismissed from the White House by President Trump.
