On the 28th, the Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index in London closed at 9216.82 points, down 38.68 points or 0.42% from the previous trading day. The three major stock indexes in Europe had mixed performances. Among the top five stocks in terms of increase in the constituent stocks of the London Stock Exchange that day were: Anglo American Resources, up 2.91%; John David Sports Fashion, up 2.81%; engineering company Weir Group, up 1.71%; resource extraction and mineral product supplier Rio Tinto Group, up 1.47%; and marketing and business service company DCC, up 1.21%.
