The estimated production of canola and wheat in Canada in 2025 has been raised.

The Canadian Bureau of Statistics' model-based production estimate report shows that the forecasted canola seed production in 2025 is 19.9 million tons. The average forecast for canola seed is 20.3 million tons, higher than the 19.5 million tons reported in August last year. The forecasted wheat production in 2025 is 35.5 million tons. The average forecast for wheat is 35.9 million tons, higher than the 34.4 million tons reported in August last year. This forecast is based on satellite images and agricultural climate data models, with data collected up to the end of July.
