2025 China International Big Data Industry Expo Opens with Participation of 375 Domestic and Foreign Companies

The 2025 China International Big Data Industry Expo opened in Guiyang, Guizhou on the 28th. With the theme of "Gathering Industrial Momentum for Development", this year's expo will host 26 exchange activities and 34 series of special events, with over 16,000 registered guests and 375 domestic and foreign companies participating. Liu Liehong, member of the Party Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director of the National Data Bureau, stated at the opening ceremony of the expo that China is actively promoting the integration of the real economy and the digital economy. According to new calculations, it is predicted that by the end of this year, the added value of the digital economy is expected to reach around 49 trillion yuan, accounting for about 35% of the GDP. The proportion of the added value of core industries in the digital economy to GDP has surpassed the target set in the "14th Five-Year Plan".
