Recently, with the overall coordination and assistance of the International Pursuit and Recovery Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group and relevant departments, major suspect of corruption Liang Xiaofei was captured abroad and repatriated with close cooperation between the National Supervisory Commission and relevant national law enforcement agencies. Liang Xiaofei, female, born in September 1976, is the actual controller of Guangxi Laide Investment Co., Ltd., and an important person involved in major corruption cases investigated by supervisory authorities, suspected of jointly committing crimes and money laundering with a huge amount involved, having fled abroad in 2023. Recently, through international law enforcement cooperation, China requested foreign law enforcement agencies to capture and repatriate her. The person in charge of the Central Pursuit Office stated that the return of Liang Xiaofei is in line with the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, continuously carrying out the "Sky Net Action", and persisting in investigating and pursuing the important results of bribery and corruption together. We will continue to increase international cooperation in the fight against corruption, pursue every fugitive, and never allow any corrupt individuals to escape justice.
