The Ministry of Commerce held a press conference today to introduce the recent key work in the field of commerce and answer questions from reporters. The spokesperson stated that Li Chenggang, the Deputy Minister of Commerce and the chief negotiator for international trade negotiations, led a delegation to visit Canada from the 24th to the 27th to co-host the China-Canada Economic and Trade Joint Committee. After the meeting, Li Chenggang and his delegation will travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with relevant U.S. officials. China is willing to continue to play a constructive role in the China-U.S. economic and trade negotiations, resolve issues through equal dialogue and negotiation, and jointly maintain the healthy, stable, and sustainable development of the China-U.S. economic and trade relationship (CCTV News).
