The 12th Beijing Fragrant Hills Forum will be held in mid-September.

On the afternoon of August 28, the Ministry of National Defense held a routine press conference, and Colonel Zhang Xiaogang, the spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, announced that the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum will be held at the Beijing International Conference Center from September 17 to 19. The theme of this forum is "Safeguarding the International Order, Promoting Peaceful Development Together." There will be 4 plenary sessions, 8 parallel group meetings, as well as high-level dialogues, dialogues between Chinese and foreign experts, a symposium for young military officers and scholars from China and abroad, and special activities such as a presentation on the participation of the Chinese military in UN peacekeeping operations and an introduction to the Chinese navy's international humanitarian medical service missions. The Beijing Xiangshan Forum is committed to creating an equal, inclusive, and diverse platform for constructive dialogue to promote consensus building and mutual trust among participants, and to contribute wisdom to addressing global security and development challenges.
