A-share market closing review: The Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index surged by 7%, hitting a new three-year high. Semiconductor and other AI technology sectors all saw a collective increase.
The three major A-share indexes rose collectively today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 1.14%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 2.25%, the ChiNext Index increased by 3.82%, the CSI 50 Index increased by 0.26%, and the STAR 50 Index increased by 7.23%. The total turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong markets was 3.009 trillion yuan for the whole day, a decrease of 196.9 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 2,800 individual stocks in the market rose.
In terms of sector themes, the technology sector led by copper cables, high-speed connections, CPO, photolithography machines, satellite communications, and semiconductors soared. The agriculture, innovative medicine, liquor, education, and pork sectors saw the biggest declines. On the trading platform, the technology sector collectively surged, led by copper cables, high-speed connections, CPO, photolithography machines, and semiconductors, with multiple stocks such as Xin Yisheng, Shenghong Technology, Han Wuji, Semiconductor International, and Tianfu Communication hitting historical highs. The agriculture sector as a whole declined, with Pingtan Development, Wanxiang Denuon, and Xuerong Biology all experiencing declines. The innovative medicine sector also performed poorly, with Meinuo Hua touching the limit down during trading.
