The US Department of Defense recently announced that the US State Department has approved providing Poland with logistics maintenance and project support for F-35 fighter jets, with a contract amount of approximately $1.85 billion. The Pentagon said in a statement on the 26th that the Polish government had previously requested a purchase and wanted to buy equipment maintenance and logistics services for F-35 fighter jets. This arms sale includes model improvements, parts, consumables and accessories, weapon system support, factory repair, software and technical documents, etc., with Lockheed Martin, the main contractor, also being the manufacturer of the F-35 fighter jets.
