Baidu's Shen Dou: Enterprise requirements for AI Infra have shifted from "reducing costs and increasing efficiency" to "directly creating value".

At the 2025 Baidu Cloud Intelligence Conference held today, Shen Dou, Executive Vice President of Baidu Group and President of Baidu Intelligent Cloud Business Group, pointed out: "In the era of intelligent economy, the demand of enterprises for AI infrastructure has shifted from 'reducing costs and increasing efficiency' to 'directly creating value'. All intelligence generated by computation will be encapsulated into Agents, participating in value creation and delivery. The AI cloud of enterprises will no longer be a cost center, but will become a new type of profit center."
