To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Beijing will use various arrangements such as national flags, flower beds, night lighting, fountain water features, etc., to organically connect with the landscape of the 76th anniversary of the National Day, creating a solemn and dignified atmosphere for the event. Along Chang'an Street from Jianguomen to Fuxingmen, 10 sets of three-dimensional flower beds have been set up. At the Rainbow Gates of Jianguomen and Fuxingmen, commemorative themed landscapes have been set up; and at the north entrance of front street of the central axis, a themed landscape sculpture "Unity of the Masses" has been installed. From September 2nd to September 6th, Beijing will raise about 230,000 national and red flags. The city's fountains will be turned on, and approximately 2950 night lighting facilities will be turned on according to the level of major holidays. After the commemorative activities, the flower beds will no longer undergo major changes, only some elements will be adjusted and some plants will be replaced. The flower bed landscape will continue until National Day.
