Yunnan's "west-to-east power transmission" has accumulated a total power supply of over 2 trillion kilowatt-hours.

The reporter learned from Yunnan Power Company of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. that Yunnan's "West-to-East Power Transmission" has cumulatively transmitted a total of over 2 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity, equivalent to saving about 6.65 billion tons of standard coal for the eastern region and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 17.28 billion tons. This has made important contributions to the coordinated development between the eastern and western regions and the construction of the country's new energy system.
