Berkshire Hathaway's distribution company McLane has established a new technology center in Texas to accelerate its AI strategy.

According to the Zhixin Finance APP, McLane Company, a distribution enterprise under Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A.US), announced on Wednesday that it has established a new technology center in Austin, Texas to support its artificial intelligence acceleration strategy and growing Information Technology and Digitalization (IT&D) team. This center in Austin will enable McLane, headquartered in Temple, Texas, to tap into the local talent pool and drive the achievement of its technology and data-related goals. The facility will support approximately 100 team members working in areas such as cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence, and cloud engineering.
