Recently, the Sensor Technology National Key Laboratory of the Aerospace Information Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, successfully completed a clinical trial on "Precise Localization of Brain Deep Tumor Borders based on Implantable Microelectrode Arrays". This is the first clinical trial in the world to apply brain-machine interfaces to precisely locate the borders of deep brain tumors during surgery, marking a significant breakthrough in China's independently developed implantable clinical brain-machine interface technology. This technology provides real-time, high-precision "lesion navigation" for neurosurgery, with the potential to maximize the preservation of healthy brain tissue while precisely removing tumors, improving the postoperative preservation rate of nerve function and quality of life for patients. It has important clinical promotional value.
