According to the National Bureau of Statistics Guangdong Survey Team, since the beginning of this year, various regions and departments in Guangdong have strictly implemented the Party and government responsibilities for food safety, and have tightened up the production of rice to ensure the early rice production. In 2025, Guangdong's early rice production will reach 5.332 million tons, an increase of 55,000 tons from 2024, representing a growth of 1.0%. Guangdong's early rice production has remained above 5.2 million tons for five consecutive years, reaching a new high since 2006.
