Mining company KoBold Metals, supported by American billionaires Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, announced on Wednesday that it has obtained seven lithium and other mineral exploration permits in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In July of this year, this Central African country signed an agreement with KoBold, allowing them to conduct large-scale mineral exploration plans.
