The Citigroup rate strategist said in a report that the sharp increase in political risk in France this week is not a good sign for the upcoming credit evaluations by Fitch on September 12, Moody's on October 24, and S&P on November 28. They stated, "These three ratings are all AA-. Any downgrade will push France down to single-A level."
