On August 26, the China-Saudi Arabia Government-Business Cooperation Dialogue was held in Beijing. The President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ren Hongbin, and the Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, attended the meeting and delivered speeches together. Ren Hongbin stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia continues to deepen, and practical cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results. He called on the business communities of both countries to further promote the expansion and upgrading of trade cooperation, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the investment field, and strengthen cooperation in the industrial chain and supply chain. Al-Falih introduced the cooperation opportunities between the two countries, believing that Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" is highly compatible with China's Belt and Road Initiative. He hoped that enterprises from both countries would work together to promote energy transition, digital innovation, and manufacturing industry upgrading while consolidating the traditional trade foundation, and jointly maintain the stability of the global industrial chain and value chain. Relevant enterprises from China and Saudi Arabia engaged in face-to-face exchanges, and conducted in-depth discussions on major project cooperation, industrial chain alignment, and investment opportunities.
