ETF total size exceeds 5 trillion, the number of billion-level products exceeds 100 for the first time

On August 26, ETFs set two records at the same time: the total size exceeded 5 trillion yuan for the first time, and the number of products with assets over 10 billion yuan surpassed 100 for the first time. From the first trillion to the fifth trillion, ETFs shortened the time from 16 years to 4 months, and they have continued to be favored by funds in this round of market. According to Wind statistics, as of August 26, the total size of the entire ETF market reached 5.07 trillion yuan. Stock ETFs accounted for 3.46 trillion yuan, or 68.25%; cross-border ETFs accounted for 753.723 billion yuan, or 14.86%; bond ETFs accounted for 555.903 billion yuan, or 10.96%. In terms of branches, there are already 14 institutions with assets under management exceeding one trillion yuan.
