Russian consulting firm IKAR has raised its forecast for Russian wheat production. The head of the firm, Dmitry Rylko, stated that the increase in forecast is mainly due to the improved yield levels in the central and Volga River regions. He also noted that the adverse weather conditions faced during the harvesting period in Siberia are considered a risk factor, but were not taken into account in this forecast.
