Alibaba upgrades video generation artificial intelligence model to catch up with global competitors

Alibaba updates open-source video generation model to keep up with rapid pace of artificial intelligence upgrades, in order to closely follow Chinese and American competitors. The company released a statement on Tuesday, announcing that Tangyi Wanshi Wan2.2-S2V can generate movie-quality digital human videos with natural facial expressions and consistent mouth movements using just a static image and a piece of audio.
